To be within CMC rules compliance, I had to remove these two parts. They are in good condition and ready for the few minutes installation time.
SLP Throttle Body Flow Booster - info and installation instructions here: http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=22100 Good for 1985-1997 F-bodies. Claimed 7hp gain. True? Dunno, but it can't hurt. SLP Air Temperature Module - info and installation instructions here: http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=63010 Claimed 5-7hp gain by fooling the PCM into advancing the timing 1-2 degrees. True? Dunno, but it can't hurt. These two items cost $59.90 new plus shipping. First $50 shipped to your door takes them both. |

If your car has the stock PCM tuning, the air temp module can help quite a bit. Also, don't forget the 1LE smooth bellows. It eliminates the bellows noise reducer. I had them on the SS race car. The trio will have a noticeable impact.

Sold.
A guy at work with an LT1 Camaro bought them. The only mods on the car is a CAI. We installed them during our lunch hour and took it for a test drive. He was more than happy - he claimed that the throttle response was much better and the wheels broke loose alot easier. ...you never know without a dyno, but man was he happy! |
