Finally hit a roadblock in the 94 LS1 swap. The LS1 transmission crossmember isn't even close to bolting up. The 2 passenger side holes line up, but the drivers side holes on the body are a good 6+ inches more towards the front of the car.

I am hoping that an LT1 transmission crossmember will fit on the LS1 T56. I know the T56s were a little different between the generations, but maybe the length and outside dimensions were the same.

I don't know anyone with an LT1 car, so I figured maybe some of you guys could help me out. A picture is worth a 1000 words.

Thanks!

y5e06, thank you so much! That looks like it will work great, it is very different on the drivers side than the LS1 cross member. I called the Chevy house and they want $38 for a new one, so I'm going to do that instead of going junkyard hunting.

Thanks again!
