Being involved in dirt track racing... I have to say that I loved that T2 race. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

If you can't beat them....beat on them. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/nutkick.gif)

The T2 race was very good. Is it just me or did it seem like that the SVT Neon drivers were a couple of hacks. I was laughing when the announcer said "Live by the sword, die by the sword" and one of the Neon's rubbed T.C. Kline for the pass and T.C. then ran the Neon off the track in the next turn. I won't even bring up the first lap incident.

No it was NOT just you those guys drove like freakin' idiots.

As far as I could tell, every incident involved, or was caused by them.

The first lap??? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I don't care what you do for a living, losing $60,000 worth of machine because some dumb ass has to hurt.

And Yes TC handled the situation like he should have, Just sucks he went off too.

From a spectating standpoint it was a good race..

As a side note, is it just me or does the SCCA want the pony car to die. BAD. The ESP thing, the talk of changine up FS, the turbo neons, and CTS-V's, in T-2 and soon to be EVO's and STI's in T2.

If an STI doesn't win a BUNCH in T2 next year I'll be AMAZED.

They'll probably do OK, it all depends upon the rules.... The one that ran T1 at the runoffs with unlimited boost and more mods than it will (hopefully) be allowed in T2 was only about as fast as the faster F-Bodies (allowed very little in suspension mods and running restrictors) in T2. If there's any sort of equality in the rules, I wouldn't expect the STI's to have much, if any, advantage over the F-Bodies. Then again,

Equality in the rules might be pipe dream.

Who knows...I guess it'll be interesting.
