my ESP IROC is for sale... i don't want to sell it, but i have to get rid of one of my vehicles...

1989 IROC-Z Dark Blue Hardtop w/ ~89k miles

it was originally a 5.0 w/ a 5 speed and a 9bolt rear end

the car now has Mark Madarash's built L98 connected to the original T5 tranny which is connected to a new Aluminum driveshaft which is connected to a 1992 10Bolt rear end w/ a T2R and new motive 3.42 gears

Edlebrock intake(oversized runners and baseplate)
Hooker Super Comp headers
2.5" y-pipe that merges into a 3" Dynomax Bullet glasspack muffler.. terminates just past the seats
Ground Control Camber/Castor plates(car has -2.5 degrees camber right now, but you could easily get -3 or more if you want to do a little fabrication which is ESP legal)
Koni Sport shocks and struts
G2 Aluminum Panhard bar
Canton Road Race Pan 244t
New Starter
16x10.5 CCWs.. wheels have only seen 2 sets of tires.. the current set of tires is only half worn
all new Brake Rotors(<5k miles)
new front brake Calipers
2 sets of rear calipers
you can have the 9bolt rear end.. it has the 3.45 ring&pinion.. it's a good rear end
the car also has the stock 16x8 wheels w/ tires
also have 2 carsound catalytic converters which are connected to a y-pipe that will bolt up to the hooker super comps(car passed emissions tests twice with them)..

the torque arm is untouched and so are the panhard bar mounting points.. just haven't had the money or time to change either of those things

the car has lots of potential.. and it looks pretty good too

$10,000... price must be right... if the car doesn't sell in a few weeks, then i'm just going to have to say good bye to the truck

thanks

well.. i think i'm gonna have to give up racing for a while... there's no way that i'll be able to afford race tires.. and if i break something serious, then i will really be in trouble

i would rather see someone else buy my car and race it than just use the car as my daily driver

but who knows.. i doubt anybody will want to buy the car, so i will probably end up driving it daily... in that case, i probably will not be able to resist showing up for a few events next year

Were you out at the last Mineral Wells event put on by ER? Nov 6/7 weekend? I seem to recall a blue 3rd gen in ESP.

Good luck with the sale (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

hehe.. yes, i was at that last Mineral Wells event...

i signed up for 6 runs that day but only made 3 runs.. started running out of gas on the 3d run and i really couldn't afford to go buy anymore! lol... oh well, that was my first event with the t2r and holy crap this car would be super fast with a new set of tires(i've been using Mark's '03 rain tires (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) )

in hindsight.. i should've bought some more fuel because i probably would've paxed in one of the money spots

Know all about that ! !......paid in full for the year in both clubs and make 4 events (between the two) and BOOM !
(actually - knocka, knocka, knocka). (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Anyway, guys this is a well prepped car and I can vouch for Josh - he's a stand up guy.

Good luck

Yeah, I was working the big u-turn when you were running, the car looked good!

Sorry to hijack the thread, just wanted to say "hey" (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
