... anyone here also attending?

I'll be down Friday, hopefully to help test a couple of '04 Speed World Challenge GT cars, then instructing on Sat & Sun.

My T/A is ready, the truck is ready, the trailer is almost ready and I CAN'T WAIT for this snow and ice to quit comin down.

I'm also hoping for a dryer season than last year.

... for those who haven't been to this track, (in the words of Billy Crystal doing Ricardo Montalban), "It's Fabulus".

Here's an aerial (from 1968) of turns 5,6,7 and up the back esses to the Oak Tree turn.

I signed up for the Comp school (Fri) and the sprint race (Sat). Then I looked at a a map to see where Danville, VA was. I somehow was under the impression is was near Richmond!!!!

Its almost in NC!!!!! Good thing I didn't look before booking it or I might've had second thoughts!

Pray for good weather.

Anyone going, look for my white orange SS #97. What year and color TA car do you have?

BTW, I envy you as my car ISN'T ready, my trailer is still under a foot of snow and I can't believe it'll be an eight hour drive.

I plan to be there on Friday. I was going to run the enduro with our Firebird, but due to some changes in financial standing and lack of time I won't be now. I'll be bringing the Camaro, and if the test day goes very well I might run the sprint race on Saturday.

Steve, don't feel bad. My car isn't ready yet either. Still a lot of work left to go, its crunch time.

Not sure if my car will be ready, I am having some clutch problems, not to mention I need to get some new tires. I will also be keeping an eye on the weather.

Thanks for the invitation Mike. If the weather holds out, I plan to be there, and look you up. Is this a NASA event?

It looks like the weather held out for you guys. Unfortunately, a minor family crisis, ("You DO still have that car trailer don't you.....?) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) , kept me away. I hope all went well, and will get down there eventually.
