The car is still very drivable but I have been babying the 1st to 2nd shift for about 6 months now. It may be getting a little worse. If I am light on the throttle right at the shift point and let it shift then it is not to bad. The car has 150,000 on it. The car is probably only worth about 3K. I certainly do not plan on putting any big money into it. What can I have done to the trans to tighten the shifting up a little. Is there such a thing as a trans tune up were they can just tighten it up a little and then I could get another year or so out of it? Would different fluid help?
Ay help!

Steve
