Huh?

Chris, Lonnie posted on LS1.com:
FRRAX.COM
FRRAX.COM
FRRAX.COM, and the title of the thread was FRRAX.COM.

And maybe he had a face with a tongue sticking out; I can’t remember. Mitch and I scolded him politely, but the whole post is gone now.

One of your children is misbehaving. And no one should be smirking as they read this.

Sigh ....

I don't envy Eugenio's job. Nor do I want Chris to start regretting his hospitality.

Frankly speaking, I'd suggest you leave behind the ls1.com board and your thankless job as moderator. This board has caught on so well, that aside from the ls1.com archives, the best source for information appears to be here. There's no need to tip toe around rules, worry about sponsors, links, product reviews, etc.

can't they just co-exist in peace... or is it wishful thinking ? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I think this is where it's incumbent upon people to avoid leaving petty, or perceived petty remarks on other boards. That's not to say legitimate complaints shouldn't be aired.

I still wonder how long it is before the road race and auto-x oriented sponsors depart ls1.com.

Courtesy and respect pretty well cover it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Eugenio, Lonnie's comments on LS1 were inappropriate.

Nevertheless, my personal advice would be to do your job as you see fit on the other site (not an easy task), but when you are here (or any other f-body site where you aren't a moderator), just participate as an enthusiast.

exactly what I'm doing.
I really loved you guys at ls1... and since everyone is here... I'll stick around.
Thanks for the advice... btw, you have a PM for your request.

ESP, I hope you have no hard feelings, but I had to remove the thread.
I was in a between the wall and sword situation.

About 3 years ago, many of the "techies" from LS1.com became disillusioned with the way LS1.com was being run. So, they left to form their own site ... LS1tech.com

Several months ago, many of the regulars in the Texas section of LS1.com became disillusioned with the way LS1.com was being run. So, they left to form their own site ... DFWLS1.com

A couple onths ago, many of those who have a very specific niche and gathered at LS1.com became disillusioned with the way LS1.com was being run. So they left to form their own site ... FRRAX.com

Once ... don't let the door hit you in the ass.
Twice ... just a coincidence.
Three times ... becomes a trend.

There is strife because it appears to be LS1.com vs the world.

I find it rather odd that on LS1tech, questioning of a sponsor's pricing or tactics is allowed to stay open till a consensus is made. Admin doesn't seem to have an issue and sponsors don't mind defending their practices. Why is it such an issue on LS1.com? They are the same sponsors for the most part ... that baffles me ...

Eugenio no hard feelings on my part.

I'm kind of a moody poster.

But since most don't really know me...I need a "inner chuckle" now and again. That's what the FRRAX.COM was all about. I fully understood it would be deleted. I also knew because that was your job. I also kinda felt bad that you were receiving the brunt of my sharade. It's really not your fault. But you did take on moderating duties of 'that board'

Example how a loosely moderated forum can work. Look at ALL of these threads and replies. AFAIK NOT ONE TIME HAS A MODERATOR TAKEN ANY ACTION.

I'd like to know why it is forbidden to place a post over there informing viewers that a new dedicated website/forum exists. It seems to me its almost a form of thought control going on.

We've placed notices about this board on CamaroZ28.com, LS1tech.com and a few other places w/o them getting locked or deleted. What is it about LS1.com?

True.

Only a mild warning, given out in general, in one post so far... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I wasn't too keen on some of the comments, but everybody let it ride back down instead of spinning it on up more, and that shows a lot of maturity on the part of the members here.

So when Mitch posted a while back about BMR being crap and to take it off your car before it kills you, why wasent that one shut down? What exactly changed in the couple months between the two threads?
