Talk about rare. And, it's a TPI? I knew it had twin turbos, but I didn't know it had a nearly stock TPI on it.

Remember the days of them? I remember when Road & Track tested the Vector vs. Viper RT/10 vs. Vette ZR-1! That was a while back!--about '92! I also remember them crashing a Vector in "Rising Sun", but it may have been a newer version than the W8. I wonder what it will end up going for? I didn't read the specs, but they had 3 spd automatics if I remember correctly......oh how things have changed in the last 10 years!

I use to love that car when I was a kid. I had a big poster of one in my room. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) That was when the were first designed in the mid to late 80's. It took them a while to even build them and then they only made 18.

I grew up in Jacksonville, FL, and for a good while the Vector headquaters was there. They are definitely some awesome cars (even moreso in person than looking at pics). I'll never forget being behind one and seeing just how wide their rear tires are and how low the car actually is. I know, they only have 315s on the back, but this was way before everyone and their dog started putting them on f-bodies (heck the fourth-gens weren't even out yet) and Vettes.

Definitely cool, but for the money I'd have to go for a Countach if I really wanted an outrageous 80s car. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
