Well,

Today I'm dropping a bomb @ the office... well not literaly... have to be careful with words we use now a days.
I'll be telling my boss that my services will no longer be available.
Really looking fwd to the new challenges... but not looking forward on disappointing/sadening the team by leaving.
I'll miss the people a lot.... and the free (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) every friday @ office.
Ironically, my last day of work will also be my last in the 20s.
I turn 30, and start a new job... getting old... lol

You're leaving a place that gives free drinks at the office on Fridays? Are you nuts? Are all Canadian employers that cool?

If you're moving on to something better than that, I'm not sure much luck is needed! Good luck no less. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

as a matter of fact, where I am now we do have free beer, wine, food every friday.
We also have free breakfast/bagels every day, + coffee/expresso machines, juices, etc... all free of charge... and I'm leaving that.
gonna miss those 5@7.
As far as I know... I don't know of any other company that will allow alcohol in the premises, even less have it free for employees.

Good Luck! Free beer??? I switched jobs about 6 months ago, and it was one of the best feelings ever. I miss some of the people, but not most! My new job is so much better!

Good Luck again! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I know you said you were looking into it and still kicking the idea around. I guess you're done "kicking".

Congratulations Eugenio, good luck on the new position.

Now, about the free beer position, do you think they'll hire me to fill in for you? Oh, and what do you do???? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)

actually... I wasn't looking... it just happened.
I had to resign since I accepted a new job... can't stay @ both places @ once.
Was tough to give me resignation... but had to do it.
They'll miss me and made sure I knew the door was wide open if I changed my mind or decided to come back.
btw, I'm in the software industry.

yeah... took a lot of thinking and wasn't an easy decision.
I really like the people where I am now and the place.... wasn't easy @ all.
Also, that means that Memphis has gone down the drain for me.
I already am taking 3.5 weeks of vacation this summer to go to Italy and asking for another week to the new employer is too much imho... so I won't be seeing you guys @ Memphis this year... maybe next time.
Doesn't mean I can't drive down to spend some time @ your place (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
