I promise I'm didn't sign up to this forum just to post this stuff! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I just need to clean my garage out and free up some funds for new suspension parts (front coil-overs and new VictoRacers). Willing to ship any parts for extra. I'm also willing to deliver within reason. Located in Dallas, TX.

EDIT - throttle body, stb, SS wheels, steering wheel, and seats have been sold

Let me know if you have any questions or need better pics.

Thanks,

McCall

These are the aluminum wheels that came with the inflatable spare tires on some 3rd gens (1LE's I think, I'm not sure about others). I had one in my '89 (not sure where it came from, I bought it used) with the inflatable tire and the "can of air" on it and used it a few times.

That's what those are.

Good eye Trackbird. Those were the aluminum spares that came in 1LE cars (or B4Cs in this case) but that's hard to explain to non-fbody people. Regardless, they are very lightweight and would make great front runners.

Thanks for the welcome and I look forward to meeting some of you all at the National Event.

We shouldn't have many of those around here (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) .

I think the nationals will be great fun and I look forward to meeting many of this cast of misfits (not that it's a bad thing). I'm sure great times will be had by all.

Those tires were $158 each plus mount & balance so it was about $375ish after it was all said and done.

As far as how they will look, if that's your silver Formula in your avatar, you will LOVE them. I had a '96 silver Formula WS6 back in the day and that's how I know how good they will look. Here's some pics:

Also, they are pretty darn light in weight as well.

Hey a vorshlag'er... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So when are you guys going to roll out that E3 conversion anyway?
My 89 325ix is just itching for some ls1 power.
(especially since the tranny is going out on it)
Probably nearly as cheap to do a swap as to replace the tranny, do the timing belt, etc.

Kind of off topic but since I started the thread oh well (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The E36 project is coming along pretty good. We had a little set-back with the steering linkage and header clearance but we are working through it and the car should be at the custom header fabricator in a week or so. After that we will source a LS6 probably and then bolt everything in. The wiring harness will be the final challenge but we are pretty confident it will be running by the summer. You can keep track of it here: http://www.vorshlag.com/E36ProjectBook.asp

Thanks for the interest!

yes that is my formula in the avatar and yes i am backing up on the course. are you aware of how rare the silver WS6 formulas are? mine is sitting just like yours did in the second pic. negative camber in the front and everything. i love my silver rims. im so glad its not a 97, even if they are rarer, because i don't like the chrome rims.

Yes I do know how rare they are. Actually you can adjust your sig to read 1 of 26 since I totaled mine back in '99 at the nation event in St. Louis. Evil track I tell you....Evil track! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It was bought by a salvage yard and turned into a TA drag car(blue I think). Also, I don't believe they offered silver in '97 so that makes the car even rarer.

questions about the seats.
-they are bolt in for f-bodies?
-do they slide?
-how much headroom does it leave with helmet on? and how tall are you?
i'm 6'2 and my recaros make me sit too high.
thanks!

Yes the seats come with the proper brackets which make them a direct bolt-in. Also, they do have the slider mechanisms as well.

As far as seat height and headroom, they actually sit lower than the stock seats. I'm 6'0" and have plenty of extra headroom with my helmet on. Tomorrow I will try and measure it for you.
