Guys most of you know that over the years I have raced snowmobiles. Well today was bad for me. Guys picture this. Take Street racing, as many a 10 (2ft apart) vehicles racing at one time, and no cops to give you a ticket. The sled that I was driving, does 0-60mph in 2.0 sec and will do it in just 85 ft. Well from about the 100-150 ft mark the sled does a monster wheelie. At first its not that bad but just like to Top fuel blow over it will only go so far. Well the sled flipped over, braking the bulkhead, tunnel bent, hood broken, and what ever else is broken. My arm hurts and brusied all over. This is the second time I've crashed but at only 80mph its not that bad, I have crashed before at 130+,SLed is not mine and owner is not pissed at all. It is insured. I think I have to remeber to lift, I didnt release the NOS button in time. I let off the throttle but not the NOS. Enough of me venting. Be safe. John |

Yes I did this the rest of the day (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/drink.gif) Shortbus you have a package coming UPS. Oh yeah the funny thing is the owner was only really concerned about the NOS bottle and the race pack computer system. He cant claim that on the insurance. later John |

Reminds me of my buddy who snowmobiles in Montana. Tried to jump a road, ended up not quite making it, crashed wearing an open faced helmet, net result was long rehab and plastic surgery. He is a firm believer in closed faced helmets now!
