Trackbird had a reply in the T-top thread under autocross that got me thinking. Is T-top glass "safety" glass like that in the windshield?

It would have to have a symbol like the windshield wouldn't it? The littls TSI with an arrow in the corner if I remember correctly. Traffic Safety Institute I believe...

Nope, not like a windshield. It is just like a side window (breaks into little rectangles. I know because it was everywhere after mine lost it's battle with gravity. It looks just like window glass (slivers and all). And, mine did $1724 worth of damage to the S10 Blazer it landed on. They are "heavy" when they land.
