610*F DRY Boiling Point. About 20* higher than Castrol SRF.

Wet BP:

GS610 421*F

Castrol SRF 518*F

But who would run on the track w/old fluid possibly contaminated? Its only a useful specification if left in a system, w/o bleeding for several years. Typically on a street car.

But if that's the case, DOT 3 probably would work as well and you'd save a ton.

For anyone concerned w/braking effectiveness, the primary specification is Dry Boiling Point.

Guys, it's always good to have choices. It would be a boring world if everyone carried only one product. That's not bad performance for 1/2 the cost.

I use a car on the track and I'm concerned as to the specs of any particular item, to include brake fluid. I'm the one selling it (not Mr. M) and I enjoy dealing w/any person buying it. It is a worthy product. I wouldn't be interested in providing a small item such as brake fluid if it weren't of absolute top quality.Thru my contactw w/my Porsche parts distributor, the high powered 996 TT and GT2/3 crowd use it and are sold on it. I don't have the time or inclination to deal w/marginal parts or products. I'm doing this (Big Brake kit and brake fluid) as an enthusiast. I actually have a day job.

The specs are the specs and as far as I've been able to determine it is superior to all other brake fluid products designed for the race track. Like I said earlier, if you intend to leave it in for a couple of years, go get some DOT 3.

Bottom line, you're dealing w/me and not Mr Michael. I'll get you the product and stand by it.

Today, I just returned from VIR where I was using it in my Monte Carlo. It was a one hour enduro. I was almost as hot as the calipers and I was boiling. The fluid wasn't. After the race one driver was even taken away by Ambo b/o the heat. It was warm. Nevertheless, I had zero problems with the brakes on a high speed multi braking turn course.

If the fluid will avoid boiling as compared to other lower dry BP fluids, I'm for it. It a real plus to racers pushing their brakes to the limit.
