Anyone with experience with one of these units? Seems like a fun gadget. Car and Driver seemed to like it: http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?se...0&page_number=4 |

Since Beltronics owns them now, I'm sure it's the same as the FX1/FX2 (even the displays match). I've had an FX2 with software for sale on the board here for a while ( http://frrax.com/rrforum/index.php?act=ST&f=6&t=5036 ). They work pretty well and it's pretty cool, but it won't log lateral G's, just acceleration runs (damn drag racers). It measures HP, 60 foot, 330, 660, 1/8 mph and 1/4 mph and et. It has a skid pad test, and it will calculate G forces and the thrust angle, such as accelerating out of a corner, it's not a straight force 90 degrees across the car, it points more towards the rear tire on the outside (depending on how hard you accelerate).
