... just arrived and the picture on pg 48 is real familiar, to me, anyways.
That red 3rd gen Camaro is being piloted by it's owner, and my student, Roderick Lopez, around the Shenandoah circuit this past June. Not as easy to see, but that's me sitting in the right hand seat showin' him how. If I remember correctly, he got signed off to Solo at the next event. I thought that was Rod. I met him last year at a NASA-NE autocross at Giant's Stadium. That car has great paint... almost a shame to race it!! I like how he strips it but keeps it 'about an hour from being street legal.'
The last time I saw the car was in March or April, he had a Sparco seat and half of a bolt in autopower roll cage. Based on that pic I see neither, that's what made me question if it was him or not. The car must have been about half an hour away from being street legal (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif) |

He did pay a ton for the car, but it was mint when he got it and still looked great this past summer.
