Had it on Ebay for 10 days, at the very end I had bids for $2025 and $2050 on a $2100 reserve, and couldn't lower the reserve fast enough to make them binding.

So I offered the high bidder a 24 hour "second-chance buy-it-now" shot at getting it for his price. He took it in the last 30 minutes...

He's flying down from Cleveland on Saturday to pick it up. His 535 is going into storage for the winter, and he'll be driving this AWD 325iX.

Now if I can get the CF hood sold...

I think there's an interesting thread, here. A lot of Camaro guys are also BMW 3-series guys. These cars about as opposite as they get. What's with that?

It was a pretty easy choice for me. If you want a small, well built, RWD car with a manual transmission you don't have too many choices....

Okay, so the FMIC (31x12x4) is ordered, the cheapo VFN hood is ordered (we'll see if it's as light as they claim), the UE panhard lowering kit is ordered, and the GC coilovers and springs are ordered.

Figured I'd get the long lead time stuff on order (hood and coilovers).

And the stuff I need for figuring out radiator repositioning, fmic mounting, and turbo pipe routing. (even the panhard rod is something I have to work around, with the rear mount sts turbo...)

Turbo was also sent out for repair, and is being upgraded to the next size up too.

Next step will be to pay for the forged 383 stroker shortblock, once I have the BMW check in my hand... Then I am all spent out until February. (then I start up again with brake ducts, brake pads, ACPT/LPE driveshaft, t2r order, bov, bigger rear sway bar, rear lca's, etc.) Which carries me out to the start of summer. Then wheels and tires (probably RA1's) and I'm done for the year. (it's all laid out and the year isn't even here yet)

Budgets are a necessary evil I suppose. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
