Thanks for the recognition, guys and gals, but I wouldn't be here without the good tech that JonA and others bring along with their observations and opinions, and EVERYONE here that takes their sport seriously. I am in good company!

I like to think of it as "like minded lunatics".

This forum is really the best one I've found, it's not too big, we mostly think alike, and its diverse enough to allow topics like gunsmithing and homebrew (neither of which I practice but do have an interest in) to educational advice and supporting members who have to deal with the dark reality of life.

I appreciate all the help and tips I've picked up on this board. But like most I'm too excited to go out and try it without thanking the right people, or even break their balls when they come up with another idea after I just bought the parts.

I'm also very glad Alan decided to come out of "lurking mode." (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He brings a TON of experience and knowledge to the table. I've learned a bunch from him already.

Regardless of what anyone has said, there's a good deal of benefit gained by learning SOME aspects of performance tuning F-bodies vicariously- especially from thoughtful and skillful folks like Jon and Alan. Besides being able to avoiding expensive mistakes, we also get the benefit of shared problem solving. Just wish there had been FFRAX when I first purchased my car, I'd be so much further ahead of where I am in developing the car. So, Jon, Alan, and numerous others, both I and my budget track beast thank you. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Having known Alan for years, I'm very glad he's here as well. He has a ton of fab and race expereince that is invaluable.

I'm also extremely glad that Jon is here to share from a technical perspective. He doesn't sell anything and is therefore a great source for those that want an "outside" perspective.

to hell with you camaro guys, us pontiac boys need some attention!!!!

Without jon, I would have spent AOT more money than I have, much thanks. I just wish frrax was here 6 or 7 years ago so that I wouldn't have to redo half the things I did when I didn't know any better. didn't even know what books to go look for back in the day.

these guys are so helpful that they'll even tell you what to go read so you can understand what the hell they're talking about, so you can talk to them about it. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rotf.gif)
