The new Car Craft has a segment of pics that show a mustang ejecting the whole rear end out the tail end. The tail end of the car is dragging on the ground with the rear (tires still bolted to it), 4 links, driveshaft, and shocks bouncing down the track behind the car.
All of this happened with a photographer sitting calmly on the wall with his back to the action. At least the car was past him already!! (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) If you don't break an axle then the next thing will break instead... sometimes there's just no way you're going to win. |
