It looks like I will be making a trip to Columbus on Monday to pick up a set of wheels and tires. Where I am meeting the guy is one exit away from the JEGS East retail store. Is it worth my time to go the 3 or 4 miles down the road just to look around the store? Or is the store more of a warehouse with a counter to pick up parts?

The store is a store, not just a counter. The main store is down town off of I-71 (it's the largest). I worked at the downtown and the west side stores, but never the east side. If you are that close, drop by.

I've never been to the Jegs store, but I've been to the Summit store. And if the Jegs store is anything like the Summit store, you should definitely go. The Summit store was bigger than a mega massive super Walmart only with all performace parts inside. I was like a little kid in a toy store. Everything they sell is attached to a pegboard wall so you can see/touch it. And their customer service is awesome. I say do yourself a favor and go.

It's not much farther to make it to the main store, and it is pretty good size (not as big as a Wal*Mart, but lots of stuff on display). The Reynoldsburg store is decent sized, but is probably about half the size of the showroom at the main store. Either way, come by and see us!

The adress to the main store is:

751 E 11th ave
Columbus, OH 43211

The East retail store is:

6597 East Main Street
Columbus, OH 43068

No that I know of. I think that's the reason we recently started shipping everything (almost everything, anyway) air-freight. Other than the convenience of having a Summit store nearby if you live in Nevada, the biggest thing they had on us was the ability to get a package to West-coasters a day or 2 sooner. Now-a-days it no different than if we were shipping from here or there, you should always get your stuff within a couple of days, and East-costers will usually have them the next day.
