Funky! Having engineers that were tied in with the McLaren F1 is always a good thing!

Oh dear god....................... (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

2.4 litre V-8 10,500 rpm 500hp (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I would have to pull over to the side of the road the first time I heard it at red line and have some "quality time" by myself (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) thats pretty much formula 1 stuff right there.

But I am seriously guessing that this car will even be out of reach by moderately wealthy.

:stupid: The concept is awesome but I imagine most of us can only dream about it. I mean a street going formula car is not going to be cheap to maintain. Even if you could afford the initial price.

Looks like an F1 car with a body kit. :leaving:

Under "team" it says they design cars for the raod and track, so it might be street legal (in some country but not the US). Two seater might mean the passenger sits behind the driver.

A little more realistic in terms of affordability:

the Ariel atom. About $65k for the top line model. Supercharged motor and goes like hell. (GM Ecotec 2.0 Liter 300hp 250 ft/lbs Supercharged)

if you check out the website enough, you can find blueprint drawings (mainly a subtle context in the background) where you can see how they do the 2 passenger layout. the passengers aren't exactly next to each other. the passenger is set a little to the side and a little behind the driver. takes up less lateral space, but i wonder what the view for the passenger is like.

Well, at first I thought the Atom looked like ass, then I watched the video and was amazed by it. It fit in on the board below the Enzo and above the CGT!
