These often show up on e-bay as part of a used caliper listing. Most often, these are being sold by companies that part out f-bodies. You might want to chase down a few listings, call the company behind the listing and see if they will sell you just the bracket.
Otherwise, you will likely struggle to find this from an individual. Another possibility would be a pick-n-pull junkyard but I have found that f-bodies are few and far between at the local junk yards. |

I had this same problem 3 weeks ago. Did my brakes, and the last slide I tried to remove was frozen in. No combination of PB Blaster, hammer, wrench, vice grips, or bench vise could loosen it.
I needed one ASAP, and the stealership had one in stock for $75, plus $4 for a new slide (bracket doesn't come with any). The slide doesn't even come with a boot; luckily I was able to reuse my old one. I just happen to have a spare bracket laying around, even comes with 1 slide (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Sell it to you cheap! Howdy,
I believe I have a stock front brake system off a '99 z28 that I'd like to sell... Just got the car / spares and haven't gone through everything yet, but if you're interested, I can get back in touch Sunday after I've gone through everything. That'd be right & left brackets, calipers, pads, SS lines, and pretty used rotors. Mark |
