Does anybody have any thoughts about this technology? We received the machine at work for testing. The gas can not be used for welding but it could be used for brazing. It makes material hot very quickly. You can do traditional style flame cutting on carbon steel with the HHO as fuel and using oxygen to oxidize/blow out the the cut. The flame is hot enough to melt just about anything but the machine only supports pressure to about 38psi which isn't enough to blow molten aluminum or stainless out of the cut.
my viewpoint on this gas is strictly from a weld shop point of view- i'm sure that this machine has a couple of very good applications, i just don't think it will replace the oxy/fuel torch... i know it won't replace our cnc laser cutters, but it's possible that it could replace our cnc plasma cutters |
