TWS Vid

Here is a video I shot this weekend running with Nasa in the TT group. I'm running in my F-stock 99 Formula: Konis, 35mm fsb, exhuast, 255/50R16 Goodyear GSCS on stock 16x8's. The video starts about half-way thru the session as I come upto the start/finish line. Total length is about 7 mins (3 laps and change) and total size is 26 mb.

According to my transponder, the lap times were: 2:06.381, 2:07.214, and 2:06.118 respectively.

I was running the DE line thru 5, but after talking to some people I started getting all the way down to the grass. Also, I was braking pretty early for turn one; in later sessions I started driving much deeper (tried not braking on the oval once....that put me in the grass outside of turn 1 (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )

Nice, thanks for posting. That revs me up to try the track for the first time, hopefully this summer yet. Nice job passing the Porsche. In his defense, the rear engined Porsche bites you hard if you lose it, so probably a good thing he was being conservative.

Yeah, I figured that out, Glen (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . It was nice to meet you, and even better of you to run a faster time than me on less sticky tires with less power (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Congrats on the wins!

No worries! Smack talk makes the world go round, and competition drives us to be faster. Still waiting to get my times from the last session on Sunday. I have a bet with one S2000 driver, who in his last session (left early) got me by .3 (2:05.1 to my best of 2:05.4).

I got the car weighed at National Tour back in April: 3365 with 1/3 tank of gas and no driver. Add a full tank (60 lbs) and my fat ass (325 lbs) and you get 3750.
