Actually I find all die hard brand loyal people funny.

Anyway I also just happen to have a 1986 Saleen mustang making 480 RWHP (single turbo blah blah blah) that I have been using for HPDE. I have also owned 7 other mustangs AND 3 other 3rd gen Camaros.

Anyway my mustang friends have been giving me a hard time over the Camaro. The funny thing is that one of them is going Spec E30 racing. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif) And the other is making it very clear that mustangs took CMC and AI at nationals.

Whats going to be funny is when this mustang owner rails both of them in a Camaro.

I really don't get the die hard brand loyal people. I love 80s performance cars and have owned several including the mustang/camaros, a Shelby charger 2.2T and a VW 16V GTI.

Maybe I just don't get it because I wrench for a living or maybe my passion for American performance cars is that much stronger than my brand loyalty.

of yeah I haul the cars around behind a Dodge Ram cummins. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Carry on.

I always find it interesting also. I lean GM first, but I have owned several foreign cars as well as Ford products.

I just buy and drive whatever I like.

But... really as far as CMC goes.... Tell them to let the GM boys pull their restrictor plates and see how those Fords would do. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/whip.gif)
