Pricing varies depending on spring, but is very similar to a Hypercoil price. They are somewhat lighter though and guaranteed to be with 2% of advertised rate.
Not really light enough that I'd strongly recommend a change just to save weight, but they are lighter and the price make it kind of a no-brainer that we are going to use these whenever possible. Feel free to contact me for pricing and availability. 2.5" spring are available in 7.5" (150-1100 lbs), 9" (90-850 lbs.), 11 (85-800), 12" (85-700), and 14" (85-700). The rate testing procedure: Preload the spring 1inch and deflect the spring 2 inches in 1 inch increments. Depending on the spring free length Vogtland can ensure that the spring rate will be linear within 2% of the nominal rate between 25% and 75% of the springs total travel. |
