I'm in need of a single GTA 16x8 front rim.

Color is unimportant, and it doesn't really matter to me if it's the "dimpled" style or not. Nor do cosmetic flaws matter much, since it'll be for track days.

If you can help me out, PM or email to hotrodder(at)mindspring(dot)com

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Good Luck! I've been searching for a single (or a pair) of front GTAs for a year! If we can find a pair, I'd be glad to share one of them with you!

Your best bet is to look locally in the paper, at yards, and any local online message boards to see what you can come up with. Check out anything that's Firebird/Camaro/Trans Am to see if they're GTA wheels. Anyone who knows what a GTA wheel is knows what it's worth.

Last summer I picked up a pair of media blasted GTA fronts for $100, then lucked out and scored a full set of partially bead blasted fronts from a Ford guy for $150. The ford guy had bought them 10 years ago for a Formula he used to have.

I had a complete set of GTA wheels on the car already ($400 w/ Kumho tires that I got my use out of), so after I sold the rears for $75, I came out with a 2 full sets of GTA fronts for a STEAL.

Just relating my success that good deals are still out there, you just have to look for them.

I've got a set of 4 GTA wheels I don't see myself using. Heavy track use, and one of the rears is pretty well dinged up, both on the center and at the bead. I'll take some pics and email them to you. Not interested in breaking up the set, but reasonably negotiable on price because of the dinged rear.

I'll send the pics once I get a chance to take 'em and download 'em.

Maybe we can split the set? Let me know if that is possible please. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I'm certainly open to that...now we just need to find a third person who wants the rears.
