A4
3.42
Torson T2R

5200rpm = 163mph
Torque Converter locks at 90mph.

The car does not spend much time below 110mph when it is working and the setup was definitely not optimal for TWS.

Nice video. I never been to that track, but to me it seemed like you could have reved that engine a little more, it would have helped you come off the corners quicker. Since yours is an A4, you can put it into 3rd and leave it. It will keep you in gear, the car won't 'free wheel' when your foot is off the pedal.
I saw that you had an instructor, but don't let that stop you from pushing it hard. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Don't worry about your set up too much at this point, just sqeeze the throttle from corner apex to the braking point... than do it again. (at least that is what I do)

Here is an in-car video of TWS from my Vette in NASA's Time Trial. The Vette is now sold and I am looking for another F-Body!

I thought you snagged a Mustang?

You looking for an F-car project? roller? turn key?

CMC? CMC-2? AI? AIX?

LS1? LT1?

I've been looking at the CMC-2 rules and I think a 3000lb, 260 RWHP LT1 with good sway bars would be a tough car to beat, on the track and for reliability.

The car was a lot more qualified to be there than the driver -- maybe I will push it a little more when the driver credentials are more better (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

BTW, if you want to see some video of the motor revving a bit more, I DO have afew of those floating around. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I am building a 94 GT for CMC right now, but my heart is not in it. I keep thinking how much work I have to do to it to make it work.....but then I also look at how little money it takes too.

I would love to run a LS1 in AI. I almost bought a 01 T2 car from a guy in Oregon that is in great shape, but we could not come together on price.

Any suggestions?

I have 2 rollers ... a teal 96 Z and a teal 94 Formula. Just stripped rollers.

We can create whatever you'd like ...
