For Sale:
Comp Xtreme Energy Solid Roller 230/236/112 112ICL .552"/.564" (1.5 rockers), custom grind part # 07-000-8, Lobe #s 4872/4873, lash .016"/.018" Can be used on any 1987 or later small block, carbed or injected, that used a step nose cam (87 and up Gen 1 or 92-97 LT1/LT4 Gen2). Also uses your standard OE distibutor gear. No bronze! Timing @ .050": OPEN CLOSE IN 3* 47* EX 50* 6* I ran this cam in my `95 Z28 stock short block for 4 years (4300 miles) and is in excellent condition. I`m changing to a different cam. My one regret w/ this cam is that I didn`t get it ground 4* advance. When I got it I thought I would move it 4* adv. at the timing set, then I found out that isn`t really good to do with LT1`s because of the Optispark referencing off the nose of the cam. So i installed it straight up (112ICL). It ran really good there, albeit it liked to spin to 6800 ! Would have run better 4* advanced!! If you are gonna put this in a non-LT1 engine this all won`t matter! You can then advance it 4* or where ever you want to put it! Just use offset bushings/timing set or a crank gear that allows you to move it. I used all the recommended parts from Comp (977 springs, 888 lifters, etc) and it proved to be a nice reliable setup. $125.00 Random Tech Bullet Cats: EDIT!! CATS SOLD!!!! These were part of a TPIS/Random Tech Y-pipe that I had on with my Hooker LT. I Sold the LTs and cut off the Cats from the rest of the y-pipe. 3" diameter in/out pipes, high flow. The cats themselves are stainless, while the little bit of inlet/outlet pipe on each is aluminized steel. With the above cam in a stock short block LT1 AFR heads, 78* air temps and with these cats , the car went 120MPH N/A. These cats definitely have great flow. The diameter of the cats themselves is about 4-4.25". One cat has a total length of 10.5", and the other is 13.5". The latter cat just has more pipe length to it. It can be shortened to match the other, or just cut the aluminized pipes off the front and back of the cats and weld them right to your new exhaust! They probably would need to welded to your exhaust because there isn`t much length of pipe on the inlet and outlet for them to be made slip fit. Those interested can see this in the pics. $100.00/both - Pictures and more info on request! Email me at: mmb1211@juno.com or PM me Buyer pays shipping. If interested, PLEASE give me your address so I can get you a shipping cost quickly. Shipping is paid by buyer based on method, weight, size of package and location.
