All items are new and in original packaging. These are grouped as complete projects.
*Reasonable offers will be considered.* If someone needs pictures, I can do that. It was just too damn cold to go out to the garage and take them today. 1) Headers: SLP Headers for 1995-1997 Dual-Cat LT1's SLP P/N: 30017C http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30017C Lists new for $720 + shipping. Required SLP Install Kit for Above, SLP P/N: 30029 http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30029 Lists new for $61.75 plus shipping. SCE Gaskets Copper Exhaust Manifold Gaskets P/N 4611 Listed at summitracing.com SCE-4611 (couldn't paste the link here). Lists new for $29.95 plus shipping. 2) Valvetrain upgrade items: Comp Cams Rocker Arms CS 1.6 3/8 Self Aligning P/N 1318-16 http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku Lists new for $324.95 plus shipping. Sixteen (16) AC Delco "Shim-Vlv" (Valve Seats) AC Delco P/N: 10185066 16 of them would cost $34.88 at gmpartsdirect.com plus shipping. Two Kline Valve Seal Driver PN KL1430 I couldn't find these on any websites but Comp Cams make a fancy aluminum tool for $24. These are cheap plastic ones and probably are good enough for the job. I'll throw these in if someone wants the valve train upgrade items. 3) LT1 Conversion Kit to LS1 Coil Pack Ignition System *SOLD* All of these parts were purchased for an LT1 motor. Some will also work on other applications. Please make sure that these will work with your engine. If you have any questions, just e-mail me. QUOTE 3) LT1 Conversion Kit to LS1 Coil Pack Ignition System The LTCC Kit referenced in this article: http://www.mtfba.org/tech/ltcc.htm and listed for sale here: http://bailey-eng.com/LTCC.html This kit includes the wiring harness, magic box and instructions. It sells for $399 plus shipping. Also included in this "project" is: Eight Coils - AC Delco Part Number 12558948 These items are listed at gmpartsdirect.com for $36.76 each (total $294.08) Taylor 8mm Spiro Pro Series Plug Wire Kit PN 73051. This wire kit sells for $49.99 plus shipping. According to my math, the above items sell for just over $740 plus shipping. I'm willing to sell these items for $600 plus shipping. Hola Keith! What is the advantage of the LTCC over the Delteq? I replace an Opti a year on the ORR car and I am fed up with it. |

According to a GM High Tech Performance article and some other stuff that I've read, this setup is supposed to eliminate the weaknesses with the OptiSpark setup. Here's a link to the article:
http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/tech/...ding_modifying/ I have found that some people have trouble with Opti's and others do not. I personally have never had any problems which is why I am selling this kit (it came with a car I bought last week). Note that at the bottom of the GMHTP article, there is a link to the Delteq site as well. There is some technical information over there but this setup doesn't really look all that different from the LTCC to me. There are a ton of discussion threads about this over at camaroz28.com. If you do a search over there, you'll see quite a few threads about this topic and get some 3rd party experience with these systems. I recommend you read these if you are thinking of going with the Delteq or LTCC. This post has been edited by KeithO: Feb 19 2007, 08:33 PM |

You interested in trading or you need the cash? |

My preference is cash simply because I found a local 95' LT1 engine with 38k miles and a verified history very cheap. I need to raise some $$$ since I just bought another f-body...
Even so, I'm a car guy and always scrounging for parts. Right now on my "to buy" list I have: 2 new GM Front Hubs (I only use GM pieces for this part) Pair of new front GM LS1 Calipers (I had bad luck with the auto parts stores parts) If you have the above (or something that a CMCer might need as spares), shoot me a PM and maybe we can work something out. |

...hey, I was contacted by a guy over on cz28.com overnight trying to buy just the harness and plug wires. Sounds like he had an engine fire. Regardless, the magic box is useless without the harness so I really would prefer to sell this stuff as a set... AndyJ - PM sent.

I'd LOVE to spring for the rockers but I've had bad luck lately on my vehicles and I'm having to pay out a lot of money right now.
