The rattle trap is gone! As of tonight I now have an 06 GTO. 2 years ago I traded the Camaro for an Infiniti G35 sedan, the whole trying to fit both the wife and the rear facing convertible car seat in at the same time got to be a little much. While I loved the handling of the Infiniti I never really did like it, expecially after it devloped the rattles and vibrations in the transmission. On the drive home tonight in the GTO I realized just how much I'd grown to hate the Infiniti and how much I had missed low end torque. Yes the GTO is a heavy untired pig, but I love it.

I am waiting for the 4-5 year old GTO's to enter the used car market. I believe they are going to be a bargain with a great drivetrain to fiddle with. |
