i thought about that for a second... but why would anyone use the left foot to brake ?

You can't tell me that someone on a roadrace-autocross forum has never heard the term "left-foot braking"? (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Pat

My post talked about how left foot braking works for me driving a manual in roadcourse situations (CMC for me) in addition to my street experience with autos - have an instructor show ya sometime. It is an advanced technique and you have to have a good understanding of throttle and brake skills before you attempt. It is another tool for your driver's skill toolbox. (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I like the Ross Bentley Speed Secret book series for reading on skills I am working on or trying to learn new.
