Howdy,

My dad has a 6" swing lathe for sale. Here's his description/price:

QUOTE
6" Atlas Craftsman Model # 101.07301
3 jaw and 4 jaw chucks
2 Jacob drill chucks
2 faceplates
brand new steady rest
2 live centers
full set of change gears
Misc other tooling

Price $550

The lathe is in Maine, but he visits me in Youngstown, OH fairly frequently. If you're somewhere near there (or in between the two) delivery could probably be arranged. Otherwise there'd be shipping.

The 6" atlas is a small lathe, good for things like bushings and such. Nice thing is it doesn't take up much room. Bad thing is that a small lathe like this isn't going to take huge cuts. Still, if you can swing the part, it'll work with some patience. It'd be a good lathe for a home shop person or model builder or whatever.

You can read more about these lathes at: http://www.lathes.co.uk/craftsman/page5.html
