My ex. (seperated and living apart for a year-technically still married) and sons mother, was involved in a motorcycle accident a couple weeks ago. She IS going to make it.....I really think, as do the doctors that she's out of the woods. She's conscious and talking, etc.

However she will have alot to deal with. I really feel like any prayers for her could help her in the time ahead of her. She lost her left leg in the accident. Luckily a withness stopped to put a turnicate on her or else she wouldn't be here. She is very fortunate. I think the realization of how lucky she is to be alive and our son Carter, will help her to move on with her life. I cannot even imagine what she is or will be going through, but I will be there for her regardless of our situation....

Her boyfriend passed away in the accident. I wish that people could realize that it only takes a few seconds of a poor choice to ruin lives. I'm not that old so sometimes I don't think things through but I sure have much more to think about now. Our son needs BOTH his parents.

anyhow any little thought or prayer would help her through the times ahead. Her name is Meranda Bright. I appreciate it so much guys....

Wow Lonnie, I remember meeting you and Miranda at the OVR event a while back (2005?). I'm terribly sorry to hear of such a tragic accident and I'll offer my thoughts and wishes for her recovery.

Wow, there's one more reason to sell my ZRX (not that I needed one).

thought and prayers from me as well... been there, as well, with a heads-on collision going ~@85.
Glad I made it... and I'm sure she'll recover fine even w/o a leg.
imho, the most difficult part she has to deal w/ will be the loss of the boyfriend in the accident.
I wish her a strong recovery both emotionally and physically.
Be strong for her and your son... they both need your support and presence.

Very true. My dad died recently at the age of 56 and it was definitly a reality check for myself and the people close to me. It sounds cliche but you don't know when God is going to tap you on the shoulder and tell that your time is up, or alter your life with an accident like this.

Your family has been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she is recovering well.
