september 27th waterford hills car show

saturday september 27th we will be having an fbody get together at the waterford hills road race course. working in conjunction with street lethal performance will are hoping for over 100 cars to get together at the final race weekend at waterford hills. the cost is five dollars per person. the five dollars will get you into the hilltop area to view the 6 differant classes of races throughout the day from neons, spec miatas, open wheel to the big bad ground pounder asedan race cars featuring ite corvettes, asedan firebird, transam, camaros, and mustangs.
at lunch those with fbodies will be able to take their cars out onto the track for a series of pace car laps to give you a first hand feel of driving on the track at controlled speeds. after lunch all of those who paid the entrance fee will have unlimited paddock area passes to see all of the race cars that have been on the track saturday. as organizer of the event i will be on hand with my firebird and transam to introduce you to the drivers of all of the asedan racers and allow you to get up and personnal with the cars. i know most of us drivers will let you actually sit in the differant cars if you would like, and answer questions you might have. the asedan group consists right now of 1 84 firebird, 1 89 transam,(both mine) 3 ford mustangs, and 6 camaros, 5 third gen and 1 fourth gen. if you are interested you just need to show up. upon entering the track you will directed where to park. we have the entire hilltop area reserved and are hoping for over 100 cars. if you have any questions please shoot me an email. as for the track information you can get that from www.waterfordhills.com website thanks and hope to see you there.

racing as a business

anyone here using their race team as a business expense? im in the process of starting my own race team. i own my own business for the past 20 years, and figure i could write off my racing expenses as an advertising business expense. my uniform and car are both lettered with my company name. and my website will show information on our racing program. is there any one here with this type of experience. of course my accountant tells me to talk to a financial advisor, my private banker account managers tell me to talk to my tax man, and my financial advisor tells me to talk to my banker.
