FS: Corvette C5 Rims - Excellent - Central Ohio - $300 OBO

Full set of Corvette C5 stock rims. I believe the fronts are 17x8.5 and the rears are 18x9.5; I am sure somebody here knows. They are excellent shape and have seen VERY little use as they were a spare set for the person I received them from. Complete with center caps.

Might trade for a set of nice street tires for a 4th gen (235/55-16 or 245/50-16).

I will be in Cincinnati on the 29th and 30th so could deliver in that area.

WTT: 18x9.5 C5 Rears for 17x8.5 C5 Fronts

I have a set of rims from a C5 Corvette. These are (I assume) the standard rims as they are painted. They are in excellent condition with centers. No scratches, curb rash, or dents. The dark spots in the pictures are simply dirt from sitting in my garage.

I would like to trade the two 18" rear wheels for a pair of 17" front wheels so I have a set of four the same size.

Autocross Saturday / Rallycross Sunday at National Trails

The SCCA has two events this weekend at National Trails, just east of Columbus OH on I70. An autocross on Saturday the 20th, and a Rallycross on the 21st.

Don't get overwhelmed by the rules. The main things are: have a safe and sound car, and show up. They have a novice chair person that shows you the ropes, and most people are more than happy to assist.

(Note: The DLBracing site is not particularly well laid out or user friendly. Frankly, it stinks. Select October 2007 and Ohio Valley Region SCCA in the drop downs, and go from there. You will need to register with the site to pre-register for the events. You can also register at the evnt site, but it is $5 more and they limit the on site entries)

I will be running either the autocross in my 89 Civic Si (STS #81) and just decided to run the Rallycross as I was offered a free ride, a black Golf PF $122.

WTB: Parts for 1994 Z28

My son is of limited budget and is looking for the following:

- Exhaust. He still has the stock exhaust and it is about done. Looking for a cat back setup, even a good stock one is fine.
- Tires. He came upon a set of C5 Corvette rims, and is looking for a set of street tires for these. 245-45/17 fronts and 275-40/18 rears. These will be summer only tires - the car will not be driven in the winter while he is away at school.
- Shocks. He has original shocks at 95k miles. We have a set of 45k mile stock shocks we can install, but if somebody has something better for a reasonable price, let me know.
