I have a customer with a 87 C4 Vette and he's getting a new set of C5 Z06 wheels. He wanted to know if I was interested in purchasing or selling his current salad shooters as he doesn't have much room in his garage. I have yet to see them, but from he has told me they are in good condition (I was probably gonna polish them) and have 3 tires with 90% or so tread left and one with about 60 - 70% left.

What kind of price range should I be looking at?

Thanks (admin's, if you don't think this belongs here, or at all on this site, please feel free to delete),

4 ZR1 (17 x 9.5) scratched but straight. If you want, I can through in pretty much any finish (other than chrome) that you want for varying prices as I own a Metal Polishing Shop. $200 plus shipping (usually about $60.00 business to business). I'll get pics on Monday if ya want. They'll go on Ebay Wed (Aug 24, 2005).

Email me or PM me with any questions.

I decided to go a different route with heads and intake.

LT1 castings. Fully ported, 187 cc intake port, 55cc chamber. Good til .620 lift. recently freshened up (new seals, valve job). These heads were done more for velocity rather than peak flow numbers. Great for a terribly wide power band in a 355. Made over 400 rwhp with a Lingenfelter grind of a CC306 through Mac shorties. I'm told they would be a great set of nitrous heads as well.

Flow numbers are as follow:
Lift Intake exhaust
.2 125.5 112.3
.3 180.2 164
.4 221.5 191.8
.5 251 205.6
.550 256 209

Done at 28".

Intake is a match ported (of course matchported to the above heads) and very polished LT1. A lot of work went into these heads, and I think they are some of the best to come from Mike Mendenhall.

I would rather sell as a whole set, and if they do, I'll let them go for $1700.

But heads alone will go for 1450, and intake for 400.

I do want cash up front, no trades.

If local, no shipping charges.. If not local, buyer pays shipping and insurance.

Does anyone have the part number for the heater box used in the early 4th gens with the A/C delete feature?
