Drivers are invited to finish the season at two track events in the Great Lakes area - GingerMan on Oct. 18-19 and Road America on Nov. 1-2. Run groups for driving school, lapping/practice, race, and lunch time touring - a pace for everyone and lots of track time.

Safe - all sessions are run to driving school/open tracking rules. Bring your street car.

Bring a friend and get the “Buddy” price - 25% off each entry. Both have to register at the same time.

Watch, or drive in, a fun new form of road racing.

Sports And Touring CAr Racing (SATCAR) is excited to announce the Formula Street Fall Series of track events in the Great Lakes area. This series consists of four events at different tracks and points will be awarded to determine a series champion. Each of these events will have different run groups for driving school, practice/lapping, and race, along with lunch time touring - - something for everyone.

Sept. 1 “Speed at the Farms” - Blackhawk Farms Raceway, South Beloit, IL
Sept. 27-28 “Grattan G-Fair” - Grattan Raceway, Grattan, MI
Oct. 17-18 “ColorFall Sprints” - GingerMan Raceway, South Haven, MI
Nov. 1-2 “Four Mile Finale” - Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI

SATCAR racing uses a format that is very much like driving schools and open tracking in that passing is allowed only on selected straights, corners must be taken single file, and cars start single file from pit lane. This format creates a reasonable degree of safety for drivers and their cars so drivers can enter any track worthy car, from street stock to race prepared.

The safe format is combined with a unique, handicap based scoring system that provides fairness for all drivers, whether they bring 100 HP or 500 HP to the track. The result is a totally new form of road racing at a much lower cost than has been available in the past.

Further information about SATCAR and the Fall Series, including the Rules Of Competition, is available at the SATCAR web site: www.satcarracing.com.

Sports And Touring CAr Racing (SATCAR) is excited to announce the Fall Series for 2008. This will be a series of four events at tracks in the upper Midwest. These events use a format very similar to driving schools or open tracking events so we allow drivers to enter in their street cars. Then we use a unique handicap scoring system to make the competition fair, whether you bring 100 HP or 500 HP to the event.

To learn more about SATCAR, including the full Rules Of Competition, please visit the SATCAR web site at: www.satcarracing.com. Also, please register for our mailing list to be kept informed as the program develops. This program is planned as a nationwide, perhaps worldwide, racing activity and we will be coming to a track near you!

Entry forms for the Fall Series will be posted on the site as soon as final entry fees are determined.

Plan to include these SATCAR events in your 2008 activities.

See you at the track!
