I'm wanting to get a 5 pt harness, but I don't have a roll cage, and don't want to bucher up the interior of my car. What is the best way to mount the shoulder straps? any pictures?

Thanks

I was talking to a guy at work the other day, and the topic of cars came up, and he recently got an '04 Mustang GT. So during our discussion he was dogging on the F-body, and he admitted that I'd spank him in a drag race, but he bought the car for the handling not for drag racing.

So my question is do the GTs really handle any better than an F-body? I was under the impression that they both handled fairly equally, both are addequate and both can be improved on. I don't hear much talk about the rustangs handling, so I don't know much about them.

What is your feeling, knowledge, and/or experience with them handling wise in comparison to an F-body?

OK, I've decided to run in ESP for the time.

I'm on a fairly tight budget (wife and new house won't let me go hog wild). So I need to get things as money permits, so basically I need the best performance/dollar mods.

Also, I probably won't run real competitively this year, so I'm looking at building up for next year.

How does this order of things look?
Shocks (Koni SA up front, Third gen Bilsteins in the back)
1LE rear swaybar
springs (any suggestions?)
5 point harness (need suggestions on this too)
Tires for next season (will start out using my 16x8 camaro wheels)
APHB
Anything else?

I figure for this season I would race on my street tires, try to attend an evolution school, and just get some seat time. Not being too worried about being the fastest, and just try to improve.

Hey everyone, I just found this site after being refered here from someone over at LS1tech. Man I wish I would have found this sooner. I looked around just a little and I like what I see.

To let you all: I've participated in a few autocrosses (about 5), but on a very sparatic basis and all on street tire (IMG:http://www.frrax.com/rrforum/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I haven't done one in awhile, since I wanted to run 12s in the 1/4, which I did last year. So now I'm ready to get serious about autocross and maybe even go to a road race.

I've decided that I'm going to race in SM i believe (the one above ESP) because I refuse to change back to my stock shifter (to stay in fs) and I have a few minor engine mods that would probably bump me out of ESP and I'm planning on getting sub frame connectors this month.
