I need four 275/40-17 Nitto 555RII

It appears Discount Tire Direct is still the best place. If you were buying who would you reccomend other than DTD?

DTD now charges for shipping. The no shipping charge made for a low tire price.

If someone has a new set they do not want, then send a note.

Thanks

I sure hope the part about brembo brakes is a reality.

Here the first post in this thread is a very clear side shot, and the front and rear calipers look like brembo.

I like the black roof, black lights, and the fat back tires.

The thread below goes on and on. If the 500 hp rumor is true then I expect the car will have a 7.0l. 427ci*405hp/346ci=499hp

Certainly GM can get to 500 hp with a 6.4l if they wanted to try that hard. There is a guy on ls1tech that is firm about the new z06 being a 6.4l as he is involved in some part of the production process.

Note the other z06 off to the right edge of the image in the first post in the above thread.

In person the c6 looks more compact. I like the one I saw better than the photographs of them. So I am more excited about the c6 z06 than in previous days.

Enjoy

Lets face it if you want a nice set of track wheels it costs.

I am looking at three vendors:

HRE
CCW
Kodiak

The CCW and Kodiak are about 1800 per set and the HRE is about 1100 per set. I do not have an opinion which of them is best, and certainly there are many other wheel vendors out there. The three vendors are there because they all seem like reasonable choices. Lastly, 1900 per set is about as much as I can justify for a set of wheels.

Bottom line - what is your favorite wheel vendor?

Thanks

Bought 3 brand new pairs of them this March, and maybe they have seen 1000miles.

The passenger side LCA seemed to be the source of rattle over rough pavement. One and only one of the 6 ends would rattle when thumped with a rubber mallet.

With the part off of the car the ball will rattle when shaken. It is kinda disappointing. I replaced it with one that has seen 1000s of miles and it is quiet.
