Must not be used with OEM wheel studs - a stud upgrade is required to use the spacers. I also have stock of ARP wheel studs and Gorilla short bulge lugnuts.

I use 6061 Aluminum, cut the hub hole to be a snug fit to the hub, so fronts or LS1 rears won't go on a LT1 rear, and conversely, LT1 rears will be about .020" large on the front or on a LS1 rear (or C4/C5). Some of the aftermarket axles for the LT1 have LS1 sized hubs so best to measure your axle hubs before ordering spacers.

Alan, I assume you still have these available? I'm going to need 2 3/16 or a 1/4 spacer that will go inside the rear rotor (between the hub and rotor, not outside the rotor).

Will these fit?

Brad - Oh, yeah - just made up a batch of 3/8" for stock last night, they are a pretty good seller. But, I think the wheel spacers are too large in OD to fit inside the rotor. I can make some up for you that will fit, no problem. I've done that for some cars to center the rotor in the caliper. I'll need to know thickness, which axles - early (large hub) or late (small hub) you are using. It's possible that they are all the same dia at the base of hub flange, I'll check tomorrow. Cost is same as the wheel spacers.

FWIW the wheels I have had to be slightly clearanced to fit on the back. And yes, I need these to center the rotor in the hub. When I put the new (for me) rear end on, the inside of the rotor rubbed on the caliper carrier. 5 washers got me through the WS weekend, but I want something more secure.

I think I want 3/16, or maybe 1/4 - I won't know until next weekend though. I'll give you a call/e-mail after we get the car onto the lift @ Nick's.

I measured LT1 vs LS1, and the base of the axle hub at the flange is the same diameter for both - The first 1/4" there centers the rotor. It's outboard of that where the LS1 flange is smaller in diameter. Sooo... you'll be OK with 1/4" thick, LT1 ID, as long as you stick with the LT1 axles. With LS1 axles I wouldn't go more than 1/8" thick inside so that the rotor stays indexed on the hub, and shim the caliper if more is needed. I'll make them 1/4" smaller in OD to be sure they fit the inside of the rotor - I've seen a variety of profiles on the machining of that surface. I found a source for 5/16" thick 6061 plate, and have a sheet on order. I'll have 5/16" spacers in stock in about 10 days.

5/16" spacers are now in stock - just picked up this batch of 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 1/2" blanks from the waterjet cutter.

You have the OD Water Jet cut then drill the rest yourself?

That's correct - I used to cut out the blanks with a 180mm hole saw but that took forever. I drill the center hole and hone it to a snug fit to the hub, and then drill the stud holes.

Spring cleaning revealed a big pile of spacer slugs - most of these represent a wheel spacer.
All are 6061 aluminum, thicknesses from 1/16" to 3/4". Dia from 1/2" to 4"+

Useful for a variety of applications, all have a hole on center. Let me know what you need.

By popular demand, I have added 3/4" spacers to my product line. The track width increases in CMC and AI have made this a popular size, several of the faster cars have been running them all season.

I offer the 3/4" size with the lightening holes standard, just doesn't make sense to put any extra weight here.

Cost is $135/pair, and I still need to know if they are going on OEM LT1 axles (a few of them left out there) and I will hone the ID to fit, and stamp 'LT1 rear'. I've got the plate stock on hand, takes me a couple of days to make them up.

At this thickness, the longer 3.25" ARP studs are required in order to keep some threads showing past the lugnut. Cost on the ARP 7713 studs is $36/5pk.

And, the Dorman lugnuts are still $16/10pk.




I've also got a couple of cars running 1" spacers - the material is just too expensive to stock without having some solid sales, so I'm supplying the 1" on a as requested basis. I do not stock the material.

As soon as I get my CTSV brakes on I will be ordering a set. Just need to find out what size I need!
