Needed a laundry list of stuff from Canton Racing for the next car car build.
I called around and included Argent Lab in that circle of vendors.

I gotta say, Robert hooked me up!

Lightening fast return calls, answered all my questions and the parts should be here by the weekend.

Wow!

I know most of you don't know Argent Lab or who Robert is.
But, if you know how "frugal" I am, you must realize what kind of deal I got.

Robert is a racer, just like us. He does what he can.

I haven't had the pleasure of buying parts from him (yet)... but after meeting him at Mid-Ohio, all I have to say is, "Robert's good people." thumbup.gif

Really!!!!!!!!!

If I ever find a crew chief for AI #81, I will need a two way setup!

I buy the beer and food......

I'd volunteer, but that's a hell of a commute John! (and I'd probably put you in the poor house with the beer) beerchug.gif

I didn't know that they carried Canton products. That's good to know, I'll be buying an oil pan and Accusump this winter for the new mo-ta. Prices look good too.

Word to the wise, don't get the manual valve for the accusump. It's completely worthless for the application.

why?

Because when you try to open the damn valve, the handle jams into the accusump body and it won't open. I think Trackbird has pics of when we called the canton boys some choice names after figuring it out with his manual valve.

Added: I'm talking the regular ball valve, if you use the one alan blaine recommends, the one with the push pull flex cable linkage, that fits quite well... if you can make it fit in the car somewhere.

Glenn and I found communication invaluable.

Argent carries just about anything a racer might need.

I was planning on mounting the Accusump in the back of the car, and the valve between the seats. The line will run from the back of the car over top of the tunnel, through a hole in the firewall. So I assume that it will work in that situation. I wondering if I should have another valve on the accusump however for a situation of a leak or something.

That's how I ran mine. I used the remote valve with the handle in the middle of the dash.
