Howdy, ya'll...I see a lot of names I know from other forums, and a lot that I don't recognize. Wow. Thats all I can say. I've been lurking for a few days, learning about how these cars do at (or near) the limits...

Right now I'm just learning about what to do (and not to do) to keep from spending tons of money, only to do one more mod and screw up a previous one.

Anywho. Howdy.

Carry on.

Where are you from?

Well, it all started in 1972...

Oh, wait. Nevermind.

I'm in central NC. Thomasville.

As soon as I get this board figgered out, I'll add a sig and hometown.

Problem is, she's smart enough to not let me have much money.

Something about having a life after 65 or something.

I'm working through it, though... dry.gif

Kinda. I just put some Koni SAs on my Formy and in the lead-up to that purchase, I posted quite a bit about suspension stuff.

I don't have a lot of opinions on cars yet (that are really valid, at least) and I'm trying to learn what the smartest ideas are for a paced mod system. Like I said above, I don't have much of a budget for mods (I burned through about 2 years worth with the wheels & Konis), so I try for the best bang for the buck.

To say the least, the Konis have totally changed the car. I think Sam lied to me, though. He said they would make the car feel a thousand pounds lighter, but I SWEAR it doesn't feel like more than 850 or so. wink.gif
