I have had this truck for 2 years and put almost 80k miles on it.
1996 GMC K2500 3/4 Ton 4x4 Suburban
314,xxx current miles
tow package
7.4 liter
4L80E 4 speed auto
Pushbutton 4x4
3/4 ton
Alloy wheels
new Kumho 10 ply tires
Dual batteries
Regency Conversion
-- All leather
-- LED ligting inside
-- 6 disc Kenwood CD Changer
--- Quad Captains chairs -- all electric
--- TV/VHS player in second row
--- Wood trim
The facts are at 314,xxx miles it is definitely showing its age and prospective buyers need to understand that this is NOT a pristine, 100% cherry truck.
The front transfer case leaks oil,
The carpet is soiled,
It has a code that indicates the left bank is running rich and causes a rough idle
Drivers seat is a bit worn but not nearly as bad as some leather seats I have seen.
Alarm system/keyless entry works when it wants to
Right side scrape on rear passenger door (slight)
Lock fascia on driver's door broken
Cruise does not work
Horn works when it wants to.
Right rear passenger door does not lock at times
Needs brakes and rotors on front
Fender flares are faded
Windshield is pitted--no cracks
Sometimes the windsheild wipers are hard to turn off
Windshield washer reservoir has a hole in it
Drivers side vanity visor mirror/light broken
Hinge keeper on right rear barn door broken (keeps the door from swinging out wide)

So what does that sound like to you? An old truck that has seen better days? A beater that would serve as a winter driver or ranch/deer lease vehicle? Until I replaced the truck this fall, it was being driven and worked daily but I replaced it for a reason. I was getting concerned about being let down on the side of the road.
I have done lots of towing with this truck and some people don't want to hear that but it is a fact. West Coast, Nevada, Miami, Midwest; I have been all over the country towing a 28' enclosed trailer with this beast. MY GF calls it the "War Wagon"
