Good price and good service

I purchased a T2-R two weeks ago, there price was better then other places. I also got 3:73 gears and install kit also. All price well.

I decided that if I was already paying for a T2-R install I would go for gears cost was about the same.

By the way Strano will drop ship to your installer.

As you are in Cleveland, Strano is close by just north east of Pittsburg, they could do your install also.

Yup just ordered mine from Strano today also. $505 for the thing plus around $20 for shipping.

This thing better be gold like everyone says it is! Since I never see used ones for sale, I assume they are pretty good. Good luck bigshoe.

If you want to save money you can do the install yourself-it's pretty easy since you don't disturb the pinion. All you need are carrier shims and a dial indicator (and new bearings and races of course). Sam can give you details.

well, i was hoping that i would get lucky, and someoen would sell one, but i figured i'd have to buy it new anyways (never seen one for sale myself).

and don't worry guys, if i get one new, its from sam, just between all the costs i put in the car lately, i would really appreciate a used torsen.

and i know a guy that could hopefully help me with the install,

I've never seen a used one for sale either. The T2R can be hard to find new, too. They only seem to make a batch or two per year. So, when you find a new one in stock somewhere, buy it!

I think Eugenio had a T2R in his 10 bolt. Now that he has the 9" installed, he MIGHT want to sell his T2R ....

sorry... my 10-bolt was sold with T2R + 3.73s as a whole to a local f-body friend... even before I ordered the 9"... I had only mentionned upgrading my rear-end and he told me he would buy mine.
It's installed in his car and he is very happy with it

Hey Doug..... How'd the car ride with the different shocks settings???? Just curious.

Well when I got home I didn't need to crawl out of the car and straighten my back out! Obviously with the stiffer springs and shocks the ride is stiffer than stock. It was noticably softer on the way home. Although this is a street car, the setup for autox is more important to me. I will not be very often I go for the long drive like last week.

Thanks again Sam. I think the T2R was helping on Sunday when we ran with rain, sleet, 40km winds, and a temperature of 4C with -10C windchill.
