For anybody who has been ordering parts through Van Devere in Ohio, I just found out that Dal Slabaugh has retired, and Calvin, who ran Van Devere's on-line ordering site, has also retired.
According to the guy that I talked to, they plan on shutting down the website, and are no longer going to sell parts at the wholesale +10% price.
That sucks.

Call Team Chevrolet. If you search, the info is here somewhere, or I can dig it up.

Dal has been a friend of this community for as long as I can remember.
I have spent many hours, over the years, seeking out parts and numbers.

Dang. He will definitely be missed. Hopefully now, though, he will have time to enjoy some of his hobbies, instead of helping us enjoy ours. I don't know the $1000s I've spent with his help on our collection. His great service and wonderful attitude will be missed.
I got a chance to personally meet him at an Impala SS meet in Bowling Green. He is a really nice guy, and I consider him a friend. Even though it would be sometimes a year between contacting him for parts, he would remember me, or my wife when she called for Christmas presents.
I sent a note to his email address to wish him well. His email is lockitup at bright d0t net. I hope he won't mind me sharing that with you guys.

He'll definitely be missed. I've ordered many parts from him over the last 10+ years.
