I've got two EVO 2000 seats that I'd like to sale. They were both purchased and built in 2004. The one has never been removed from the bag and the other was only in the car a short time. It looks brand new. No damage except a minor scratch on the back. What are these worth? I'd like to sale them as a pair. Are there any regulations involving their age? I just want them gone as I will never use them and they only take up space. Thanks Trey

...I am assuming that these are Sparco Evo 2000 seats. If Evo is the brand name, then look for SFI/FIA tagging.
There should be an FIA tag glued to the side/back of the seat. Included on this tag should be a date. IIRC, an FIA homologated seat can be used in NASA without a back brace up to 5 years after the date on the tag. After that, the seat is still legal but a back brace is required.

What color are they?
If they are red, they are worth more to me

Sorry, I forgot to mention they were black.
I have pictures of both the seat and the tag. I did not take a picture of the seat that's still in the bag.
I don't know how to post pictures. If someone wants pics send me your email address.
Ledfoot I'm sending you pictures now. I have no idea what they are worth, that's why I am here asking. I know they are what $700 each brand new now.
Thanks guys
