Crazy Canuck
Just wanted to share the joy of the opening of a new track close to my place.

Here is an article on the opening.

Now we have this new track (used to be an airport), as well as:
Mt-Tremblant: http://www.lecircuit.com/circuitDocuments/...0Eng1%20(2).pdf
PMG: http://www.pmgtest.com/testing3.html (love the big triangle in the center the size of 18 football fields of homologated perfect asphalt)
St-Eustache: http://www.autodrome-st-eustache.com/fichi...it_ASE_2007.pdf
Sanair: http://www.sanairracing.net/z_eng/index.htm
all these tracks are within 1 hr... not bad for Igloo land... plenty of room to go dog-sled racing laugh.gif

2hrs away, I have Shannonville, and then Mosport @ 4hr away.

I was looking at the track map. The bottom portion "drag strip" part of the track makes no sence to me.

I know... I guess they want to please different markets, and avoid ppl racing on the street.
There is a 1/8 mile setup @ St-Eustache, which is ~10-15 minutes away... I guess that's the one that will suffer the most.
but who cares about the 1/4, 1/8 mile... lol

Well, yeah...
But that is not what I meant. I am looking at making the turn halfway down the strip to the backward carossel. There is no curbing where it needs to be, also there is curbing at the end/beginning of the dragstip, as to suggest making a u-turn there.
Crazy Canuck
hell of a hairpin, i guess... lol
