Since Eric K. had the 40-ounce flu and didn't bring our car, Kenny Sorensen let me drive his LS1 ESP Camaro yesterday at FedEx Field. This was one of my two 59.7 runs. Had a 58.3 but of course coned it away.

I think I ended up 4th behind Brian, Phil and Kenny. Woulda, coulda, shoulda (getting warmed up for Nationals) been 2nd.

This is one from yesterday driving my car at an autocross at FedEx Field. '82 Camaro Z28, prepped for ESP, L98 engine, T10 transmission, <3150 lbs, kitchen sink ...

If you want to compare, here are some from Eric the co-owner, Brian AKA "Big Enos" and finally Sam during fun runs, all driving the same car. laugh.gif

Turns - in slow, out fast! Bring your brake zones out of the turn until you get more comfortable with the car

Look at the next portion of the course, not at what is immediately in front of you.

Walk the course as many times as you can.

Treat the throttle as if it had an egg under it, not like it was an on/off switch.

Take a ride with someone else, get an instructor or someone else with V8/RWD experience to rid with you.
