GlennCMC70

Howdy,

I'd like to come over on Sunday to shoot some pictures... Sent email to Grassroots to see if they'd vouch for me to get photo creds from Mid-Ohio, but if you (or any of you guys) have some contacts with NASA that can get me "over the wall" photo creds, I'd appreciate it...

i'd like to keep the pass's for guys who can make all three days in case i need some local help. i'll be attending solo this year other than Jeff B, but i'm not sure what his plans are w/ regards of "crewing" for me.
Trackbird and a couple other locals really saved my ass last year. and the year before.
trackbird
I'm about out of parts this year... Hope you don't need anything I don't have in stock. smile.gif
GlennCMC70
same drill as last year. if you own a 4th gen, drive it to the track for me.
killer_bluebird
Hey Glenn you need a pair of hands? or anyone else? Being unemployed opens all king of time to hang around with you guys!
GlennCMC70
always. pm me your full name and i'll put you on the crew list.
Sidney
Team 309 will be there again this year but with only (2) CMC Firebirds. Look for the #18 Blue (Bryan White) and #67 Red/White (Bob Denton) 3rd gens. Stop by to say hi.

Sidney Franklin
AI/CMC #64 (Blown motor)
CMC #37
Is it just me or does Bob Denton look like Mike Myers? wink.gif

Thanks But it just wont be the same without all the California and Texas folks.
My vote is to have a unofficial "CMC Nationals" at the Hallet Race next year. Hallet appears to be about the center of the country....

Bob
GlennCMC70
there will be a few Texas guys there.
and Hallett was a hoot w/ the RM guys coming down also.
Racerdad916
I will be coming with Kevin. I am available Thurs/Fri all day, earlier in the week in the evenings. If you can spare a pass, that would be cool...... I like to work when I come to the track, so save me a clutch change or something fun like that.... biggrin.gif

PM me your full name. thats the end of my pass's guys.

It's on! Weather was great today...suppose to rain after midnight then chances the rest of the weekend. No times but reports were the track was very slick in the morning.

Hopefully I won't be working on Firebirds tomorrow night and we can give an update.

Sidney
AI...CMC #64
Crew for Bob and Bryan
CMC #37
I was checking the live timing (see NASA website for link) of you guys today when I got the chance, did not see the CMC group. I did see Ernesto Rocco ran a 1:30.xx leading AI, kewl!
JKnight
Looks like forecast is rain for the rest of the weekend. I'm feeling for the folks that don't have a garage, and even more for the folks that aren't on pavement. Being in the rain and pitted on the grass / dirt has got to suck!

I did like our garage last year! smile.gif Today is rain from the lap times! AI has a serious challenger with Dave Shotz, driving up front in the rain drops!!!

He must have read The Art of Racing in the Rain a couple of times. Looks like he didn't do too shabbily in CMC race either. Didn't Alan prepare both cars?

But I have a feeling results might be different if they end up with a dry final race. There are some folks that know that track pretty well. Overall winner from last year is way down the list from today's race.

Congrats to Dave! He's tearing it up like I expected. Surprized a few AI folks in lighter cars, in the wet. He's also running a PT class, and his Dad is running the AI car in TT.

Yes, Blainefab built the #75 3rd gen CMC car, and did a serious makeover on the ex-T2 #34 LS1 4th gen CMC2 turned AI car.

In the dry, yesterday, Glenn pipped Dave for fast time of the last session, so he's got things together, too.

I've been checking results here: http://mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=355893 pretty much in real time,
but is there somewhere that lists finishes by class? I'm not familiar with a lot of the names.

When you open this page
http://www.mylaps.com/results/showevent.jsp?id=355893

You get a list of all the groups listed by day and session

Click on the day/session and it will open up the specific session. Here is Friday's Race ...

The typical view is overall results. If you look in the upper right hand corner, you can sort by class

Looks like we're down for cleanup in T1. Mylap is not showing any activity for GrpA yet

Schlender/Schotz in 4th/5th were first Fbods in AI, AFAIK

Schotz won the morning PTB race
