Thought I would drop in and say hi! 2thumbs.gif

I finally have a lot more time on my hands than I have since this time last year. I got married late last year and bought a house all while working on my master's at UofL and working full time at a power plant. I'm now officially broke. I'm also trying to sell my truck (good luck there) and have considered selling the Camaro with as bad as the economy has become. It's amazing how bad it's gotten in the past year. Anyways I got my masters in mechanical engineering in August am done with school so I actually have a social life down. I'm also down 35 pounds and have taken up cycling and weight lifting.

Nice to have you back bud. Keep the car, there's no good reason to sale it for .25 on the dollar!

Welcome back! beerchug.gif

I know a local guy (Barry B, drives a white GTA in FS sometimes) who has expressed interest in buying your car several times in the past year.

2000 Silverado LT Z71 1/2 ton (probably smaller than most of us want here)

I asked about you every time I was at Papa John's and nobody knew what happened to you.Keep the car, that 35 pounds is worth almost a tenth.

Glad to see you're back around, Rob!

Now... I just need to remember what it was that I wanted to ask you about... rotf.gif

I slowed down in 2006 and later completely dropped out because I pinched a nerve in my lower back and I lost interest in autocross. I had planned on open tracking in 2007 but then I was too busy saving for a wedding ring and house.

I understand that.I payed twice as much for the wedding ring than my car.

Welcome back! (just getting back on here myself for a while, but not gone nearly as long as you...)

Congrats on getting those big life things taken care of. smile.gif

Nope, I'm keeping it-unless someone makes me a nice offer. I love my car too much and I would end up replacing it down the road anyways. About the only thing wrong with it is that's an LT1 and not an LS1. I just winterized it the other day. I'm going to put the sound deadening and stereo back in and redo the alignment over winter and make it my nice weather daily driver for next year. It has practically new 275/40/17 Kumho Ecsta MX's on it so it's not that far off from being a daily driver.

I no longer fit the inside of my car though. I'm now down to 215 lbs and when I drove it the other day, to add fresh fuel and stabilizer to the tank, I was sliding all over in my Kirkey Intermediate RR seat. It's an 18" seat IIRC. Anyways I'm going to have to put the racing seat up for sale since it's too big. I'm thinking now I would need a 16" or smaller racing seat. But right now the factory seats are going back in. If someone in KY (not interested in shipping) wants a deal on an 18" Kirkey Int. RR seat drop me a line.
